Description

Pickle with chamoy is a sweet, spicy, tangy snack packed with bold Mexican flavor. Easy to make at home, it’s perfect for parties or an adventurous treat.

Ingredients

Scale

6 to 8 whole dill pickles

1 cup dill pickle juice

1/2 cup chamoy sauce

1 teaspoon Tajín seasoning

2 teaspoons sweet candy chamoy powder

2 teaspoons sweet and sour mango powder

1 to 2 teaspoons hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

1. Slice pickles in half lengthwise or leave whole.

2. In a bowl, mix pickle juice, chamoy sauce, Tajín, candy powder, mango powder, and hot sauce.

3. Place pickles into a jar or container.

4. Pour chamoy mixture over pickles until submerged.

5. Seal and refrigerate for 24 hours before serving.

Notes

Add mango chunks or jicama for variation.

Use sugar-free chamoy and low-sodium pickles for a lighter option.
