5 Proven Natural Saxenda Recipes That Actually Work

  • Author: Lily Jason
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Description

Natural Saxenda recipe using chia seeds, apple cider vinegar, Greek yogurt, and turmeric to support GLP-1-driven fullness before meals. Tested by Chef Lily Jason at fastflavorbites.com.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup warm water, around 185 degrees Fahrenheit

1 tablespoon chia seeds, soaked 10 minutes until gel forms

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon ground turmeric

1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt, full-fat

Juice of half a lemon

1 teaspoon raw honey or monk fruit sweetener

Instructions

1. Soak 1 tablespoon of chia seeds in 3 tablespoons of water for 10 minutes until a gel forms. 2. Warm 1 cup of water to approximately 185 degrees Fahrenheit, just below boiling. Do not boil as high heat degrades curcumin in turmeric. 3. Add soaked chia seeds, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, apple cider vinegar, Greek yogurt, honey, and lemon juice to a blender or shaker bottle. 4. Blend for 20 seconds or shake vigorously until all ingredients are fully combined and smooth. 5. Drink immediately, 20 minutes before breakfast on a completely empty stomach for best GLP-1 timing.

Notes

Make this natural Saxenda recipe tonic fresh each morning. Do not pre-batch because ACV and lemon combined reduce curcumin potency within a few hours.

Time-saving tip: pre-mix your dry spices (turmeric, ginger, cinnamon) in a small labeled jar. Morning prep drops to under 2 minutes.

Dairy-free version: swap 2 tablespoons of Greek yogurt for 2 tablespoons of unsweetened coconut yogurt. Protein content will be slightly lower but the drink still works.

Storage: this tonic is best consumed immediately. Prepared chia gel (seeds soaked in water only) can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
