Description

A healthier alternative to the classic burger, the Burger Bowl is a customizable and delicious meal that’s quick to make. Packed with juicy beef, fresh veggies, and all your favorite toppings, this dish brings all the flavors of a burger without the bun.

Ingredients

Ground Beef (80/20 or lean alternative)

Lettuce (romaine, mixed greens, or spinach)

Cheese (cheddar, Swiss, blue cheese)

Tomato (sliced)

Pickles (sliced)

Red Onion (sliced)

Bacon (crispy)

Condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, aioli)

Instructions

1. 1. Prepare the Beef Patties: Season ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Form patties and cook in a skillet or grill pan for 4-5 minutes per side. Rest the patties after cooking.

2. 2. Assemble the Burger Bowl Base: Add chopped lettuce to a large bowl. Slice tomatoes, pickles, onions, and cook bacon. Set aside.

3. 3. Add Cheese and Toppings: Place cooked patties on lettuce, add cheese slices. Optional: broil patties to melt cheese. Add tomato, pickles, onions, and any extra toppings like avocado or mushrooms.

4. 4. Drizzle with Condiments: Add ketchup, mustard, mayo, or your preferred sauce to finish off the bowl.

Notes

You can swap ground beef for ground turkey, chicken, or plant-based options for a lighter, vegetarian version.

Add extra veggies like sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, or roasted sweet potatoes for additional flavor.
